Book of the Day Official Review by Bookie Books: Callaghan Vol 1 & 2, January 31st

Review 1: Callaghan, Vol 1 & 2 is about Matthias who finds himself on a hospital bed, with bandages tied around him and diagnosed of amnesia. He later discovers that he had gone through a surgical operation that changed his face completely. He then decided to retaliate the evil done to him having found out that his father, former business associate and even his ex-wife was involved. Having gone through another surgery, he starts afresh with Samantha, a new girlfriend. Showing up again, were his enemies cohorts trying to challenge him. The arrival of his ex-wife and his former business partner makes him to be in worst problems. Will he be able to get justice without being hurt? Rating: 5/5………………. Review 2: Having lost his face, an amnesia patient, Callaghan plans to revenge those who avenge those who were responsible including his ex-wife and his father. It is quite hard as they are ready for him. So he decided to kill them. Will it work? I like the story because you feel like you are in the story. It is very descriptive and intriguing. I`m hoping another part of the story will be released. Rating: 4/5................ Review 3: How does it feel when the people you trust wants to kill you by all means? That was exactly how Matthias felt when he found himself in the hospital with a new face. Getting back on his feet from amnesia, he goes through another surgery, planning a revenge and having a new girlfriend, Samantha. The book is suspense full and easy to understand (not complicated). Great read. The author did a great job in writing each action the character did with details. It is worth reading! Rating: 4.5/5............ Review 4: This is an interesting story about Matthias who finds survival very hard as his ex-wife and father plans to eliminate him. First, they changed his face and now, their cohorts are challenging him and he`s sued for a huge amount of money. How is he going to get out of all their traps? I will be delighted to see it on television. It`s very engaging. I enjoyed it - it`s realistic. The author ends the story well but it looks as if more series may be released. Rating: 3.5/5......... Review 5: Callaghan by Kim Ekemar is an interesting novel about Matthias Callaghan who woke up in the hospital forgetting everything. After some time, he saw that his fingers and face were removed and replaced by another face. Matthias now seeks revenge. The author is great at writing stories as the characters were described just detailed. I didn`t like the story because the author didn`t end some parts of the story. Rating: 2/5.......... Review 6: Matthias wakes up only to find out that he was in the hospital and in pains, not remembering anything. Juliana Cross, his wife visited him in the hospital and then he began to remember some things and even without a face not knowing she was the cause. Entertainment, suspense and vividness fill this story. I really loved the story as every part was accurately interesting. There were no visible grammatical errors or typos that`s why I highly recommend this thriller novel to all suspense readers. Rating: 5/5.......... Review 7: Matthias loved ones conspired to frustrate him but he plans to revenge. His lost face, fingers and surgery were just the tip of the iceberg of the things they did to him but he struggles to be alive and fight back. Will he succeed? I understood the story very well - there was a connection between the first and second part of the story. From the story, I could see the author is experienced in writing. Commendable! I recommend it to thriller story readers. Rating: 4/5......... Review 8: Callaghan decided to kill his loved ones when they took off his fingers and face while he was in a comma. He considered doing it when he decided to be a new man with a new girlfriend, Sammi. It became harder for him to achieve his goal when Flint, the leader if a group of criminals and elderly cheats (women) got into their plan. Not only that, he`s ex-wife showed up and his former business partnercame out of jail. He decided that another way to go about it was to be one of his former persons. I didn`t struggle to understand it but the story shouldn`t have ended as it did. Rating: 3/5...........
